Life Insurance Lead FAQs
Why do agents choose Speakeasy Leads?
Because buying more leads isn’t necessarily the answer—buying better opportunities is.
Speakeasy Leads was built around a simple idea: agents should have access to real prospects without competing against multiple agents for the same inquiry. We focus on exclusive insurance leads, transparent delivery, and the infrastructure needed to help agents build a consistent pipeline.
Where do your life insurance leads come from?
Our leads are generated through targeted Facebook advertising campaigns. Consumers who are actively interested in life insurance complete a lead form requesting more information or a quote and provide their contact details and consent to be contacted by a licensed insurance professional.
Once a lead is submitted and passes our validation process, it is delivered to the agent in real time.
Are your life insurance leads exclusive?
Yes. Our exclusive life insurance leads are sold to one agent and are not resold or distributed to another agent.
We built our delivery system around exclusivity because agents shouldn’t have to compete with multiple producers for the same prospect.
Are your leads TCPA compliant and verified?
Our lead forms are designed to obtain consumer consent before their information is submitted. Prospects are required to actively indicate their consent to be contacted by a licensed insurance agent before completing the form, and the applicable consent language is presented directly on the lead form.
Once submitted, leads go through our validation process to check for issues such as invalid contact information, incorrect states, fictitious names, and other criteria covered by our Replacement Policy. While our lead-generation process is designed around TCPA-compliant consent practices, agents are responsible for following all applicable TCPA, FCC, state, and carrier requirements when contacting leads.
What types of insurance leads do you offer?
We offer a variety of insurance leads designed for agencies and brokers, including life insurance leads, final expense leads, mortgage protection leads, and IUL leads.
What age groups do you target for each lead type?
We tailor age targeting based on the type of insurance being advertised and the consumers most likely to need that coverage.
Final Expense: Ages 50–75
Life Insurance: Ages 30–65
Mortgage Protection: Ages 30–55
IUL: Ages 30–60
Can I choose the state I receive leads from?
Yes. You can select the states you want to target when placing your order.
To maintain sufficient lead volume and faster fulfillment, we currently offer statewide targeting rather than individual ZIP code or county targeting.
Can I order leads from multiple states?
Yes. You can select as many states as you’re licensed in, allowing you to expand your campaign across multiple markets and timezones.
If you’re running a larger agency operation, this can also make it easier to build a consistent flow of prospects across your licensed states.
What do consumers see before becoming a lead?
We use targeted advertising campaigns and dedicated landing pages to connect consumers with the type of insurance coverage they may be interested in. Across our campaigns, ads may highlight options such as simplified underwriting, no medical exam requirements, and no waiting periods, depending on the product and available coverage. The specific messaging and landing page are tailored to the type of lead being generated.
- Life Insurance Leads: Ads typically focus on affordable life insurance coverage, protecting loved ones, simplified underwriting, and options that may not require a medical exam or waiting period.
- Final Expense Leads: Ads generally focus on helping families prepare for funeral and burial expenses, reducing the financial burden on loved ones, and finding affordable final expense coverage.
- Mortgage Protection Leads: Ads typically focus on protecting the mortgage and keeping a family in their home if the insured passes away. Messaging may highlight life insurance options designed to help cover mortgage payments or the remaining mortgage balance.
- IUL Leads: Ads typically focus on Indexed Universal Life (IUL) insurance, including permanent life insurance protection and the potential for cash value growth tied to a market index, subject to the policy’s terms and limitations.
After clicking an ad, the prospect is directed to a dedicated landing page that provides additional information about the specific product. For example, someone responding to a final expense advertisement would be directed to a final expense-focused landing page, while someone interested in mortgage protection would see information specific to mortgage protection coverage.
The prospect then completes a short form with basic information and provides consent to be contacted by a licensed insurance professional. Once submitted and validated, the lead is delivered to the agent in real time.
How quickly will I receive my leads?
Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. After placing an order, you’ll receive a separate email within 24 hours containing a link to access your Google Sheet, where new leads will be delivered automatically as they are generated.
Most campaigns begin receiving leads within 1–2 business days and are generally completed within 5–7 business days, although fulfillment times can vary based on state, lead type, volume, and advertising-platform approvals.
Orders placed after 5 PM MST are processed the following business day.
How should I work a new insurance lead?
Speed matters. When someone requests information about insurance, reaching out while the inquiry is still fresh gives you the best opportunity to start a conversation.
We recommend contacting new leads as quickly as possible and using a consistent follow-up process that may include calls, voicemails, texts, and email where appropriate.
Not every prospect will answer on the first attempt. Consistent, professional follow-up is an important part of turning an inbound lead into a conversation and, ultimately, a client.
What is your life insurance lead replacement policy?
If a lead meets the requirements outlined in our Replacement Policy, it may be submitted for review.
Qualifying reasons currently include:
- Both the phone number and email are unreachable
- The lead is outside the state(s) ordered
- The lead does not speak English
- The lead provided a clearly fictitious name
- The lead is over age 85
Replacement requests are reviewed according to our lead Replacement Policy.
